Work in Progress

Work In Progress Reflection 

  • I need to record all of things I am doing to help develop number sense
  • If I am going to understand how Kindergarteners understand numbers, then I need to spend more time asking them about numbers while they are working.  This way I can see the development of number sense and have a better idea of what different ways of presenting the information seems to lend to a higher understanding.
Next Steps
  • Video my focal students working on number sense related tasks and ask them  about their process and understanding
  • Video myself teaching the number sense warm-up
